Confidence from factsWallet popups can lag, freeze, or even be spoofed. The block explorer is the neutral, public source of truth. If the explorer shows the right From/To/Value with a “success” status, that’s what happened on-chain.
Fewer mistakesMost accidental losses come from rushing the address or fee. Practicing on testnet forces you to pause, check the first/last characters of the To address, and confirm the fee is reasonable. Those 10-second checks are cheap insurance.
Receipts you can shareA transaction hash on an explorer is a receipt anyone can verify. This beats screenshots or “trust me” messages, especially if a wallet UI glitches or someone doubts that you sent the funds.
