5/6 — Wallets: your keys, your coins — Project — safety card
What to writeCreate a “seed safety” card for yourself. Include where the seed is stored, how you would restore on a new device, and a short “never do this” list (emailing the seed, taking photos, typing it on random sites).
IncludeStorage location(s), a restore drill in plain steps, red-flag behaviors to avoid, and how you split funds between hot (small/spend) and cold (savings).
Add a response planIf a seed ever leaks, list the exact steps: create new wallet → move funds → revoke approvals → delete old wallet. Treat it like a fire drill.
Example
My seed lives: metal backup in drawer X; paper copy in safe Y
Restore steps: download wallet from bookmarked link → offline room → type seed → confirm derived address matches
Never do: photos/screenshots, cloud notes, sharing in chat, typing seed into “support” forms
Hot vs cold: keep small spending funds hot; move savings to hardware/coldKeep the card offline. If you ever type the seed, assume someone could see it—move quickly to secure funds afterward.
