4/6 — Reading a transaction on a block explorer — Hands-on lab

Use a testnet wallet so nothing is at risk. Pull two hashes from your history: one send, one contract call (swap or approval). Say the checks aloud: correct chain, hash matches, status is final.

Steps
  1. Copy a recent testnet:Tx hash from your wallet; open in an explorer.
  2. Highlight from, to, nonce,:Value, fee, and status; write one sentence about each.
  3. If it’s a token:Transfer, open “logs” and find the Transfer event; identify sender, receiver, and amount.
  4. Open a second hash:That is an approval; find the spender and the allowance granted.
  5. Take a screenshot and:Annotate key fields for both transactions.
