Wallets: your keys, your coins — Why this matters

Ownership lineWhoever controls the private key controls the funds. There is no customer support undo. Giving away the seed or private key = giving away every asset tied to it.
Backup realityThe seed phrase is the master copy of all keys derived from it. Losing it means no restore if your device dies. Sharing it means an attacker can recreate your wallet anywhere, anytime.
Real-world stakesMost “drains” come from screenshots, cloud backups, fake support chats, or typing seeds into random sites. Building muscle memory now prevents the classic mistakes later.
Safe proof vs risky proofTo prove you own a wallet, you sign a message with the private key and let others verify with your public key or address. You never show the private key itself. Screenshots are not proof; signatures are.
If you ever slipAssume compromise, move funds to a brand-new wallet with a fresh seed, and revoke any connected approvals. Waiting is what causes losses.
