3/8 — MEV Mitigation — Why this matters

Dark forestPublic mempools leak intent; searchers can reorder or sandwich you before you land in a block.

If you broadcast your trade, you’re inviting a parade.
— MEV field note

User trustProtecting orderflow (private RPCs, bundle submit) is table stakes for consumer-grade wallets and dApps.

Centralization tradeBuilders/relays that protect you can also censor you. You need a fail-open path with worse UX but safe defaults.

function chooseTransport(bool preferPrivate) internal view returns (Transport) {
    if (preferPrivate && flashbotsHealthy()) return Transport.Private;
    return Transport.PublicGuarded; // tighten slippage/deadline if we fall back
}

Design for both happy-path privacy and safe public fallback; inform users which path is active.
