Deploying a Contract on Testnet — Key concepts

RPC + chainIdEach network has an RPC URL and a chainId. Hardhat/Foundry need both to sign and broadcast.

Deployer key & nonceThe deploying EOA must be funded and its nonce determines the resulting contract address. Keep the key in .env; never commit it.

Gas and feesDeployment costs more gas than typical calls. Use reasonable priority fees; if gas is too low, it can stick in the mempool.

VerificationVerifying on explorers proves the bytecode matches your source/metadata. It unlocks read/write UI tabs and builds user trust.
